No matter what the issue is, marital difficulties, past trauma, or grief and loss, the most important aspect of therapy is having a comfortable and trusting relationship with your therapist, and I strive to provide that for each of my patients. Because I view each person as unique, I am pragmatic in my approach and use a variety of therapeutic methods in my work to assist couples and individuals grow in ways that enhance their lives and their relationships.

My Newport Beach office is close to the 73 Toll Road and just minutes from Laguna Beach, Newport Coast, Irvine, and Laguna Niguel. I chose my office location because of its peaceful and safe atmosphere. My clients find it a calm and comfortable sanctuary. I see a variety of individuals, couples, and groups. I am also available to work by phone.

I am licensed in California as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC37450), with over twenty-five years of business, training, university, hospital, and private practice experience.  I have received a MA in Counseling Psychology from National University, a Doctorate in Psychology and Psychoanalysis from The Newport Center for Psychoanalytic Studies and I am a Training and Supervising analyst on faculty at the Newport Psychoanalytic Institute in Tustin, CA.
